Shirley L. Mclaughlin

Shirley L. McLaughlin, 85, of Middletown, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Otterbein of Middletown. She was born in Middletown on March 2, 1928 to parents Bernard and Helen (Schaefer) Gibbons.

Shirley & her husband Doug enjoyed square dancing, bus tours and travel in their motor home. She was a loving mother & grandmother. She loved all of her family. Shirley & Doug were married 65 years.

She is survived by her husband, Doug; one son, Randy E. McLaughlin; three grandchildren, Megan, Christian & Ryan McLaughlin; one sister, Carolyn (Gary) Gustin; one niece, Jenny Gustin; and one nephew, Jeff Gustin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Gibbons.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation from 9:00 am until time of the Mass at the church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
