Stephanie M. Hill

Stephanie Merkler Hill, 33, of Upper Arlington, Ohio died on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her home in Cincinnati. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on December 18, 1987.

Stephanie was working on her master's degree in engineering at the University of Cincinnati. She previously worked for L Brands as a Quality Engineer. Stephanie obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from William Paterson University in 2013. She spent her internship in Capetown, South Africa tagging and tracking great white sharks, scuba diving in a shark cage and bungee jumping off of the Bloukrans Bridge.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Charles & Laurie Hill; sisters, Rebecca Hill & Cara Quinn Wilson; nephews, Rogan, Cohen and Osmin Wilson; niece, Brecklyn Wilson; great grandfather, Robert Stutz; grandmothers, Rita Hill & Joyce McLaine; aunts & uncles, Pam, Jennifer, James, Cheryl & Mark.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Bruce Merkler, her grandfather James McLaine and her great-grandmother, Winifred Stutz with whom she had a very special relationship.

A celebration of life will be planned for Stephanie's family and friends and announced at a later date.
