James Steven Daudt, 46, of Middletown, began his eternal life Tuesday, August 11, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Steve was surrounded by his family.
He was well known throughout his childhood and teenage years for being an exceptional athlete in baseball, soccer, and football. Steve was known for being the fastest guy on the playground and the field. Everyone who met him loved him. His greatest gift to us all was his gift of laughter. He had a witty comedic type humor that would have you laughing. He lived life to the fullest and truly lived in the moment each day. Steve had a strong work ethic and most recently worked for Sun Chemical in Franklin, Ohio. Steve will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Amie (Solem) Daudt; sister, Kathy Stapleton; brother, John Michael Daudt; father & mother-in-law, Ben & Diane Solem; nieces & nephews, Courtney Knight, Zach Knight, Quinn Daudt & Ava Blevins; and sisters-in-law, Stacey (Justin) Solem, Allison (Shawn) Solem & Carrie (Darren) Coe.
He was preceded in death by his father, John "Woody" Daudt; mother, Jennie Lynn (England) Daudt Wilson; and brother-in-law, Henry Knight.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday August 17, 2020 at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark St. Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant.
