Steven C. Burgan

Steven C. Burgan, 51, of Monroe, died Thursday, September 4, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Middletown on February 27, 1957 to parents Clyde and Betty (Hall) Burgan.

Steven worked as a quality control shift manager for AK Steel, retiring in 2006 after 30 years of service. Following his retirement he worked for Ottes Pub.

Mr. Burgan is survived by his wife, Jean A. (Opesky) Burgan; son, Steven S. Burgan; daughter, Holly J. Burgan; parents, Clyde & Betty Burgan; and sisters, Jennifer (Randy) Combs and Kim Madaffari.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Monsignor Paul Metzger and Reverend Randy Wallace officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 1131 Manchester Ave., Middletown, OH 45042.
