Steven Craig Weiss, 35, of Middletown, died Sunday, February 9, 2003. He was born in Middletown on December 3, 1967, the son of Connie J. and the late Michael A. Weiss, Sr.
Craig worked for Stefano's Italian Cafe. He loved children, music, and sports, being a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cincinnati Reds, and Notre Dame. He will be remembered for always having a smile on his face.
Mr. Weiss is survived by his mother, Connie J. (Jerry) Mace of Portsmouth, VA; brother, Michael A. (Kelly) Weiss, Jr. of West Chester, OH; daughter Montana Matuk of Tennessee; grandmothers Dorothy Crotty of Florida and Connie Weiss of Middletown; nephew Adam Weiss; niece Samantha Sennett; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael A. Weiss, Sr. in 1989.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church, with Father Chuck Mentrup as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be in Germantown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Bishop Fenwick High School Development Fund, 3800 Manchester Rd., Middletown, OH 45042.
