He was born on February 22, 1957 at Burlington County Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ. After graduating from high school he attended the University of Kentucky. In 1976 he moved to Middletown, Oh with his family and attended Miami University and later the Rochester Institute for The Hard of Hearing. In 1983 Steven moved to Pittsburgh, Pa where he lived for 27 years. Steven led a fruitful and full life, living with a severe hearing loss and other disabilities associated with Kearns Sayre syndrome. He was an active member of the Self-Help for the Hard of Hearing.
Matthew 20:16 says" In the same way, the last will be first, and the first will be last because many are called, but few are chosen." The challenges Steven valiantly faced in this life and his faith in God certainly means he is close to our Lord now. We all miss him dearly and rejoice in his salvation.
