Steven L. Gabbard

Steven L. Gabbard, 53, of Middletown, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at his home. He was born November 15, 1957 in Dayton and was a lifelong resident of Centerville. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Centerville High School in 1976. He attended University of Dayton and graduated from Sinclair Community College majoring in Business Management. Steve's passion in his life were his wife, family and work in the restaurant management field. All those that knew Steve found him to be a kind and compassionate soul that often times placed the needs of others before his own.

Steve is survived by his wife, Tina (Keith) Gabbard of Middletown; his father, Ronald Gabbard of Centerville; brother, Michael L. Gabbard of Raleigh, NC; five nephews, Ryan M. Gabbard of Columbus, Ross M. Gabbard of Centerville, Richard Keith Jr. of Middletown, Brandon Keith of Middletown and Michael Helton of Dayton; and two nieces, Rachael M. Louk of Orlando, FL and Jessica McIntosh of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy L. Gabbard of Centerville.

Memorial service will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 at 6:00 pm at the Church at Mayfield, 3311 Burbank Ave., Middletown with Pastor Rick Woodward officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 5:00 - 6:00 pm at the church.
