Steven J. Zimmerman

Steven J. Zimmerman, 76, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on August 25,1948 to parents, William and Zelma (Parlett) Zimmerman.

Steven had worked for Asplundh Tree Service. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during Vietnam and was a member of the Middletown VFW. Steven enjoyed being outdoors, whether gardening or hunting and he also enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Steven is survived by his wife, Lisa (Hasty) Zimmerman; daughter, Stephanie Jackson; special step-daughter, Shonda Brown; sister, Karen Zimmerman; brother, Ronnie Zimmerman; and two grandchildren, Kylie Jackson & Chloe Jackson. The family would like to say special thank you to all of his friends at the Middletown and Franklin VFW.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Helton & Carol Blankenship; and granddaughter, Kelsie Jackson.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Rev. Jake Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Franklin VFW #7596 Honor Guard.
