Suzanne Smith

Suzanne Smith, 75, of Middletown died Saturday July 27, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown on January 12, 1927 to the late Thomas and Ruth (Wells) McCarty.

She worked as a travel agent at the Middletown office of AAA for the past several years until her retirement in 2001. She had also been a part owner of James R. Smith Reality, and was also the owner of Suzanne's Shop for Pappagallo.

Survivors include her three children; Thomas O'Shea McCann, Denise (Larry) Kalmus, and Missy (Terry) Howard all of Middletown, Her sister Hazel Spade of Middletown, and Four grandchildren; Jessica and Lauren Kalmus, and Denise and Cody Howard. She is also survived by her first husband Lyle Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James R. Smith.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday July 30, 2002 at Woodside Cemetery with the Rev. Terry VanHeyningen officiating.
