Ted Adams Jr.

Ted Adams Jr., 79, of Middletown passed away Saturday September 17, 2011. He was born in Whitesburg, KY on March 12, 1932 to parents Ted and Inis (Collier) Adams.

He retired from the Laborer's International Union of North America-Local 534, starting there in 1966. Ted was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 528 for 32 years. He was a kind gentle person who loved having his grandchildren around him. He enjoyed traveling to many places with his wife and family. Ted also loved fishing and was a great photographer.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Clara (Webb) Adams, daughter Teddi (Orie) Witt, three grandchildren; Kristin Claire Witt, Sierra Brooke Witt and Nicole Sizemore; two great-grandchildren Tyler and Brooklynn Sizemore, a special sister in law Ethel Mae Adams who was always there to help, brothers; Rex Adams, James (Eileen) Adams and Johnie (Karen) Adams, sister Janice (Gregg) Layne, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday September 21, 2011 at 1:00pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Chaplin Rickey Brown officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
