Theodore F. "Ted" Craft, 68, of Monroe, died Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on April 3, 1945 to parents Asa Franklin and Ada Pearl (Back) Craft.
Ted worked as an insulator with Local 79 for 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was a 32nd degree Mason with Jefferson Lodge #90, a Boy Scout Master for 10 years, was a coach with Monroe Little League Baseball for 10 years and a volunteer with the Mayfield Fire Department. Ted was an avid fisherman and loved bluegrass music.
Mr. Craft is survived by his wife, Charlotte M. Shatto-Craft; sons, Kenneth F. (Ginny) Craft, Stephen A. (April) Shatto-Craft & John M. (Tonya) Koeppel; daughter, Jodie R. (Steve) Hineman; and grandchildren, Isaac & Abbie Roberts, Dakota & Corbin Shatto-Craft, April Koeppel, Jessica (Richard) Hall, Catherine Koeppel and Courtney Hineman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 am at Berean Baptist Church, 6342 Hamilton Middletown Rd., Middletown with Pastor Steve Botts officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at church. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Berean Baptist Church, 6342 Hamilton Middletown Rd., Middletown, Ohio 45044.
