Ted M. Scales

Theodore M. Scales, 59, of Fairfield, died Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Mercy Hospital Fairfield. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on November 10, 1950 to parents Eldren and Wilma Jean (Bennington) Scales.

Ted served his country in the United States Marine Corps where he served from 1968 to 1970 and from 1972 to 1976. He worked in the registered mail department for the U.S. Postal Service for 10 years retiring in 1995 and was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Mr. Scales is survived by his wife, Jennifer (DeJarnette) Scales; sons, Chris Scales, Alex Scales and brother, Dan (Grace) Scales.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Sister, Penelope Roffmann.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
