Theodore “Ted” J. Parrella, 62, of Middletown, died Friday June 15, 2007 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Middletown on May 30, 1945 to parents Jack J. and Marie (Hollon) Parrella.
Ted was the sports equipment manager at Fenwick High School for over 25 years. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Browns fan, he enjoyed golf, was a member of the K of C #1610, a faithful member of Holy Family Parish, and was inducted into the Fenwick Hall of Fame in 2004.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Ted is survived by his mother Marie Parrella, sisters Teresa (Rocco) DiCristoforo, Blanche (Wilson) Bailey, a brother Jack (Carolyn) Parrella all of Middletown, 4 aunts, 1 uncle, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended family at Fenwick.
Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday June 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish-St. John’s Church with Fr. John Civille as Celebrant. Visitation will be Monday June 18, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Fenwick High School 4855 St. Rt. 122. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
