Theresa A. Chaney

Theresa A. Chaney, 60, of Turtlecreek Township, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on May 20, 1956 to parents James and Reba (Egleston) Mays.

Theresa had previously worked as a dental assistant but in recent years had owned her own cleaning business. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening and was an avid animal lover.

Mrs. Chaney is survived by her husband, Greg Chaney; daughter, Rachel Chaney; brother, Don (Marie) Mays; and sisters, Leatrice Hayes & Cheryl Mays Corder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Roger Mays & Ronald Mays; and sisters, Betty Wolfe, Beatrice Crawford & Brenda Greene.

The family sends very special thanks to Theresa's niece, who was like a sister, Shelli Cramer for her wonderful love & caring. Theresa really loved & appreciated her church family.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 3023 N. Union Rd., Franklin with Pastor Max Fernandez officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Garden.
