Theresa Klontz, 74, of Monroe, died Thursday, February 16, 2006, at her residence. She was born in Middletown, on March 3, 1931 to Sam and Rita (DePalma) Plumbo.
Mrs. Klontz was a homemaker and enjoyed working in the garden.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Richard Klontz; a son, Tony Klontz of Monroe; one sister, Sister Mary Grace Plumbo of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Joe (Ramona) Plumbo of Middletown and Tony Plumbo of Lebanon; step sons, Joe (Jill) Klontz and Jim Klontz, both of Oregonia; four grandchildren, Sarah, Joey, April, & Michael; and her mother-in-law, Marie Cantrell of Oregonia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Grace Plumbo and Rose Cecilia Plumbo; and brothers, Jim Plumbo and Frank Plumbo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 20, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Ave., Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday, from 3-6 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
