Therese Ann Bruns

Therese Ann Bruns, 57, of Middletown, died Sunday, November 6, 2016, at the Daniel Drake Center. She was born in Cincinnati on August 31, 1959 to parents Joseph E. and Joyce (Jobes) Martin.

Therese had her registered nursing degree and was also a licensed massage therapist and owner of Body Works by Therese. She served her country in the United States Army, fighting in the first Gulf War and retired with the rank of Major after 20 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Mrs. Bruns is survived by her husband, William; sons, Chris & Alexander; parents, Joseph & Joyce; sisters, Ann, Angie, Mary, Linda & Heather; and brothers, John, Joe & Michael.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Franklin VFW Post 7596 Honor Guard.
