Thomas E. Haas

Thomas E. Haas, 52, of Middletown, died Friday, August 27, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Muncie, Indiana, on April 15, 1958 to parents John and Ethel (Christman) Haas.

Mr. Haas is survived by his wife, Jill Voss; Sons, Eric Haas, Alex Haas; Brother, John Haas; Sister, Connie (Ken) Zuber and nephew, Vincent DeFabis; nephew, John Zuber; niece, Lauren Zuber; sister-in-law, Wendy (Vince) DeFabis; In-laws, Jack And Norma Voss.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents

He was formerly employed by Kieffer Paper Mill in Brownstown, Indiana, Bay West Paper in Middletown and Mead Westvaco in Dayton and was an independent consultant for New Page in Miamisburg.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 5:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Chaplain Jesse Thornton officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
