Thomas Frebis, 83, of Middletown, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown on August 25, 1932 to parents Albert and Mabel (Medlen) Frebis.
Tom worked as an electrician and was a 60 year member of IBEW Local 648. He was a faithful member of Holy Family Parish, had attended St. John's School and was a 1950 graduate of Middletown High School.
Mr. Frebis is survived by his children, Katherine Beatty, Cynthia (James) Conti & Michael Frebis; loving friend & caregiver, Janice Kash; four grandchildren, Shane Conti, Matt Beatty, Sara (Jeffrey) Hobbs & Katie (Mark) Benge; and great grandchild, Remington "Remi" Hobbs. Special thanks to friends, DeeDee & Paul Mosko for their loving care and support and thank you to Toby Baker for his kindness during Tom's illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Frances Hoskins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
