Thomas Joseph Swaim, 82, of Middletown, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Close To Home Assisted Living. He was born in Middletown on September 23, 1927 to parents Edward F. and Edna C. (Hall) Swaim.
Tom worked as a surveyor for the State of Ohio. He was a member of Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church where he sang in the choir and was a member of the K of C #1610. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing in Canada.
Mr. Swaim is survived by his sister, Rosemary Gall; nephews, Michael (Angela) Gall and Stephen Gall; nieces, Kathy (Jim) Hall and Mary Beth (Mark) Morgan; and numerous great nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
