Thomas Richard Howell, 63, of Monroe, died Sunday, July 10, 2005, in Indianapolis . He was born in Dayton, on February 17, 1942 to parents John Henry and Grace (Unger) Howell.
Mr. Howell worked as a truck driver for J.B. Hunt for 13 years, and had previously worked at Armco Steel Corporation in the transportation division for 26 years. He was a charter member of the Monroe Optimist Club.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Rosemarie (Meyer) Howell; two sons, Christopher (Angela) Howell of Zanesville, OH, and Major James Howell of Tucson, AZ; a grandson, Chad Howell; a brother: John (Sharon) Howell; and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 15, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery.
