Thomas Richard Smith

Thomas R. Smith, 65, of Monroe, died Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 7, 1945 to parents Fred and Edna Mae (Hill) Smith.

Thomas worked for 31 years in the Rigger Shop at Armco Steel retiring in 1995. He was a member of The Salvation Army.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Linda Smith; sons, Kevin Smith and Jason (Angie) Smith; sister, Beverly (Ron) Jones and grandchildren, Zachary and Caroline Smith.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Beacon.

A memorial service will be held January 2, 2011 from 1-4 PM at the Chautauqua Community Center, 23 Entrance Drive, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 1711 S. University Blvd., Middletown, OH 45044.
