Thomas W. Puckett, 72, of Germantown, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Middletown on October 12, 1943 to parents William and Opal (Prater) Puckett.

Tom worked for 30 years at General Motors (Harrison Radiator) in the Compression Test Lab, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Jacksonburg United Methodist Church. He enjoyed painting and restoring cars as well as woodworking in his free time.

Mr. Puckett is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Jimmy) Combs; son, William (Stacey Apgar) Puckett; brother, Edward (Judith) Puckett; sister, Judi (Jerry) Peach; grandchildren, Ashley (Jacob) Walker, Savannah (Brandon) Highley, Zachary Combs, Emily Puckett, Thomas Puckett and Cody Apgar; and great grandchildren, Scarlett, Audrey, Sheyanne and Connor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Janice M. Puckett who passed away on February 10, 2016.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Wes Souders officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 1, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
