Todd L.Wagner, 39, of Middletown, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at University Hospital. He was born in Middletown on August 20, 1970 the only child of parents Leslie Van and Patricia Anne (Casteel) Wagner.
Todd was a 1988 graduate of Middletown High School and in 1993 he married Dawn Daniel. He was employed at Xerox in Monroe for 17 years and served as their union steward. He was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose #501 and was a skilled HAM radio operator, call sign N8LRP, reaching worldwide. Todd recently joined the Catholic church and was baptized and confirmed into the church December 22, 2009.
Mr. Wagner is survived by his wife, Dawn; parents, Les & Pat Wagner; mother & father in-law, James R. & Vicki Daniel; grandmother, Nellie Wagner; brothers-in-law, Bryan (Kim) Daniel & their sons. Ron Daniel & Kevin Daniel; aunts, Janet Sue (Will) Bussman, Donna Hensley and Rebekah "Sissy" (Larry "Unkie") Hasty; uncle, Jim Wagner; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry "Poppy" Wagner and Joseph & Kedith Casteel; aunts, Betty (Tommy) Meadows and Betty Wagner; cousin, Keith Salyers; and beloved dogs, Bowser & Bo.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Dennis Min and Dr. Mark Rudich for their loving care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father Edward Shine and Father John Civille as celebrants. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:30 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
