Trevah Thurman, 91, of Middletown, died Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Madison Township, Ohio on February 24, 1926 to parents Carl and Edna (Gilger) Hartman.
Trevah had worked as a receptionist at Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. She was a member of the Middletown Chapter of The American Business Women's Association serving in many offices over the years. Trevah was an active member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ and active with The National Kidney Foundation. She was involved in many Middletown organizations including Charity Ball, Midfest and The Middletown Symphony Orchestra. Trevah enjoyed traveling, cooking and gardening.
Mrs. Thurman is survived by her brother, Homer Hartman; sister, Dora Moore and many loving nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Thurman; sister, Juanita Stahley; brother, Robert Hartman.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Rev. Sheresa Simpson-Rice officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
