Troy E. Taylor

Troy E. Taylor, 81, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Mercy Fairfield. He was born in Dover, Tennessee on March 21, 1930 to parents Ewing and Ermon (James) Taylor.

Troy worked as a district sales manager for Rutt Custom Kitchens in Pennsylvania for 28 years, retiring in 1995. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Margie (Mattingly) Taylor; sons, Robin Taylor & Todd (Elaine) Taylor; daughter, Tina (Scott) Taylor-Thomason; four grandchildren, Amie Taylor, Ashley (Justin) Fair, Amanda (Scott) Lewis & Grayson Taylor; and three great grandchildren, Cameron & Corbin Lewis & Kevin Fair.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Taylor.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
