Truman E. "Big Dad" Ferguson, 71, of Middletown, died Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on August 3, 1931 to parents Autie and Sarah Lizzy Ferguson.
Big Dad was the owner of Ultra Mold and Tool in Carlisle and was former owner of ProPipe of Middletown. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Germantown and he attended Clearcreek Baptist Seminary. He loved spending time with his family, boating, fishing, and singing. He enjoyed working with wood and making furniture.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his daughter Tana Duff of Middletown; son-in-law Dave Duff of Middletown; son David Lynn Ferguson of Fernandina Beach, Florida; sisters Lassie Wooldridge of Miamisburg, Lucy Webster of Dayton, and Connie Nickell of Middletown; grandchildren David (Christina) Duff, Ryan (Amber) Duff, Kelley (Mark) Spaulding, Sammy Ferguson, Lacee Walthour, and Tiffany Peddycoart; and great grandchildren Tristan, Cameron, Rylee, Justin, Marley, Cammy, and Joseph David.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Burl and Dorsey Ferguson.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 11:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. with Pastor Ted Ricci officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:30 AM.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church 232 W. Warren Street, Germantown, OH 45327.
