Vasilios Kioultzopoulos, 84, of Middletown, died Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Polikarpi, Greece on March 1, 1932 to parents Demitrious and Paraskevoula (Horozanis) Kioultzopoulos.
Vasilios worked for Diamond International / Jefferson-Smurfit for 25 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church and also of AHEPA.
Mr. Kioultzopoulos was a loving husband, father & papou who will be deeply missed by his wife, Angela (Georgopoulos) Kioultzopoulos; sons, George (Susan) Kioultzopoulos & Jim (Vonda) Kioultzopoulos; brother, Nicholas (Elefteria) Kioultzopoulos; sisters, Katina (Haralambos) Petropoulos & Magdaline Kioultzopoulos; grandchildren, Angela (Adam) Knoche & William (Erin) Kioultzopoulos; and great grandchildren, Ava Foster, Henry Knoche & Nora Knoche.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kiriaki Kioultzopoulos; parents; and sisters, Sophia Kagiopoulos, Kiriakitsa Kioultzopoulos & Vasiliki Kioultzopoulos.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Grand Ave., Middletown with Father Bill Cassis officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30 - 8:00 pm, with AHEPA service at 6:30 pm, at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
