Verna A. Gross

Verna A. Gross, of Middletown, died Tuesday, Oct 18, 2005 at Otterbein Retirement Home. She was born Oct 3, 1922 in Bowen, Kentucky. She grew up in the Middletown area and attended Trenton High School. She was a member to The Mayfield Church and had worked for CareView through Middletown Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Emma (Reed) Kinser; a sister, Virginia Graham; and a brother James G. Kinser. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Thomas) Hooker of Monroe; three grandchildren, Shawn (Jackie) Herd of Monroe, Destiny (Craig) Richards of Middletown, and Chris (Amber) Herd of Hamilton; nine great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Somer, Alexandria, Ty, Cheyenne, Saige, Miranda, Christian, and Corey; a sister, Norma House of Middletown; three aunts, Maude Bishop, Mamie Zitzow, and Anne Helton all of Trenton; and four nephews, Timothy Graham of Virginia, Rick and John House of Middletown, and Patrick Kinser of Florida.
