Victor J. Curtis

Victor J. Curtis, 83, of Middletown, died Monday, August 13, 2012, at home. He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on January 3, 1929 to parents Joseph and Sophie (Krempasky) Curtis.

Victor worked as an Internal Auditor at Armco Steel Corporation for 37 years, retiring in 1996. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #218. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Knights of Columbus #1610.

Mr. Curtis is survived by his wife, Mary L. (Kovacs) Curtis; sons, Victor S. (Stephanie) Curtis & Christopher C. Curtis; daughter, Susan M. Best; brother, John (Louise) Curtis; sister, Rosemary Curtis; and grandchildren, Emily Best, Victor Stephen Curtis & Charles F. Curtis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
