Vincent J. Cimprich, 91, of Trenton, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at The Woodlands of Middletown. He was born Czechoslovakia on July 10, 1921 to parents Joseph and Milda (Lous) Cimprich.
Vincent immigrated from Czechoslovakia & was raised in Middletown. He worked as a field erector for Manchester Machine for 43 years, retiring in 1985. He is a World War II veteran of the United States Navy, having served in Pensacola, Florida & Guam and is a life member of the American Legion Post 218. He enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening & traveling.
Mr. Cimprich is survived by his brother, John (Angela) Cimprich; godchildren, John Cimprich, Susan Hinds & Mark Singhoffer; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene (Singhoffer) Cimprich; parents; and sister, Carolyn Singhoffer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton with Father Thomas H. McCarthy as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
