Virginia D. Leroy

Virginia D. LeRoy, 88, of Middletown, died Friday, August 10, 2012. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 12, 1923 to parents Floyd D. and Lucile (Vincent) Forsyth.

Virginia had been a member of First Presbyterian Church since 1956, was an avid golfer until she turned 80 and member of Wildwood Golf Club. She was also an avid gardener, she loved the flowers at her home and kept them up until she became ill.

Mrs. LeRoy is survived by her daughters, Carol D. Peck & Joan L. (Frank) Schiavone; son, Robert M. (Debra) LeRoy; brothers, Dave (Sarah) Forsyth & Don Forsyth; and five grandchildren, Frank Schiavone IV, Natalie Schiavone, Angela (Kevin) Fanning, Amy LeRoy & Michael LeRoy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor H. LeRoy in 2003; son, William W. Burkett in 2011; and parents.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Chaplain Karen Fleming officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
