Virginia L. Jones

Virginia L. Jones, 66, of Otterbein-Lebanon, died Thursday, February 14, 2008, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Springfield, on September 11, 1941 to Lawrence and Lola Mae (McLaughlin) Jones.

Virginia loved Christmas, animals, especially her dog Dellie, and all of her nieces & nephews. She loved all people and had the gift of being quick to forgive. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Virginia is survived by her father, Lawrence Jones; two sisters, Joyce Cope and Shirley (Richard) McBride; nephews, Thomas (Valerie) Cope, Michael (Kimberly)Cope, John Bryan (Adrienne) Mandzak, and Bradley Mandzak; niece, Michelle (Jody) Malicote; as well as many other great nieces & nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Mae Jones.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon St, Monroe, with Father Terry Meehan as celebrant. Visitation will be prior Mass from 10:00 - 11:00 am at church. Interment will be at Preble Memory Gardens.
