Virginia L. Marlin

Virginia L. Marlin, 87, of Monroe, Ohio, died on March 20, 2004, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on June 23, 1916 to parents Van L. and Louella (Lippincott) Lee.

Mrs. Marlin was a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) for over 50 years, a member of Monroe United Methodist Church, Middletown Regional Hospital Auxiliary and Christian Women’s Club.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mack Marlin and sister, Dorothy Rogers.

She is survived by her two sons: W. David (Carolyn) Marlin, Douglas M. (Lexanne) Marlin; one sister: Helen Gee; one brother: Robert A. (JoAnn) McColloch; grandchildren; Michael (Shelly) Marlin, Peter Marlin and Dawn (Barrett) Snyder; great grandchildren; Emily Marlin, Ashley Marlin and Serena Snyder.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2004 from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
