Virginia L. Young

Virginia L. Young, 86, of Middletown, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Middletown on September 17, 1931 to parents John William and Etta (Lykins) Mack.

Virginia had worked for Armco Steel Corporation in the International Division, retiring in 1992. She was an avid bridge player.

Ms. Young is survived by her son, Kevin Young; sister, Elsie (Mack) Plummer; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene Mack, Thomas Mack, John William "Bill" Mack Jr. & Earl Mack; and sisters, Dorothy Gris & Mary Sprinkles.

A gathering of family & friends will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a memorial donation be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
