Virginia R McAllister

Virginia R. McAllister, 99, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at The Winfield at Middletown. She was born in Cincinnati on October 4, 1925 to Fredrick and Rose (Weisman) Strittholt.

Virginia always made sure her family had a loving home and she also worked in retail. She was a devoted Catholic.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Pam (Bill) McCamey; son, Mark (Mary Alice) McAllister; brother, Dick (Janet) Strittholt; grandchildren, Jeff Vier, Michelle Vier, Alyssa (Lonnie) Soloff, Matthew (Rose) McAllister & Laura (James) Massey; and great grandchildren, Fallon, Isaac, Alex, Olivia, Boyd, Anna, Grace, Teague & Luke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. McAllister; and five brothers & sisters.

Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 11:00am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 11000 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 4418 Lewis Street., Suite B, Middletown, OH 45044-6183.
