Vivian Ruth Farler

Vivian Ruth Farler, 83, of Middletown, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Menifee County, Kentucky on February 19, 1927 to parents Albert and Gertrude (Trimble) Heizer.

Mrs. Farler is survived by her children, Garth (Kathy) Farler of Middletown, Linda (Ruben) Barela of Eldorado and Gail (Gary) Downing of Lebanon; brothers, Zollie (Minnie) Heizer, Albert Jr. (DeEtta) Heizer and Robert (Janet) Heizer; six grandchildren, Lonnie (Tammy) Line of Gratis, LaGina (James) Koehller of Eaton, Todd Farler of Middletown, Cristin (James) Daniels of Trenton, Heather (Jim) Morris of Franklin and Holly (Brian) Gastineau of Dayton; eleven great grandchildren, Larissa Schaeff, Tiffany Schul, Shelby & Colin Daniels, Nikki & Josie Farler, Ciara & Brandon Weaver, Derrick & Jordan Koehller and Kayla Creech; and one great great grandson, Landen Schaeff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dwane Farler; grandson, Lindsey Line; brothers, Fred, Jessie & Everett Heizer; and sister, Hazel Tincher.

The family wishes to thank the MI staff of Garden Manor for the excellent care and love they showed Vivian and also to Hospice Care of Middletown for the compassionate care and guidance by Michelle Sams, Jennifer Calhoun and Bill Martin.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Mickey Salyers officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
