Wade Allen Prichard

Wade Allen Prichard, 90, of Middletown, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Atrium Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Hitchins, Kentucky on May 11, 1921 to parents Wade and Bess (James) Prichard.

Wade worked for Armco Steel Corp. in West Processing as a shearman for 27 years, retiring in 1983. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Mr. Prichard is survived by his wife, Gay (Bartee) Prichard; son, Richard (Deborah) Prichard; daughters, Rita (Charles Rice) Prichard and Robin Prichard; and grandchildren, Tracy Lynn Prichard, Chad Rice and Carrie Rice.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Homer, Max, Jack & Eugene; and sisters, Clara, Ruby, Hazel, Gladys, Irene, Janet & an infant sister.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, Kentucky. Interment will be at East Carter Memory Gardens with military honors presented.
