Wanda Jean (Majors) Pierson, 62, of Trenton, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown, on September 21, 1944 to parents Cecil and Nannie Floyd (Bogard) Majors.
Mrs. Pierson worked as a registered nurse on Main One at Middletown Regional Hospital for 27 years, retiring in 1992. She was an active member of Breiel Blvd. First Church of God. Wanda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was a caregiver to many.
Mrs. Pierson is survived by her husband, Thomas William Pierson of Trenton; two daughters, Faith Nanette (Jimmy) Pierson Elliott of Gratis Township and Tonya Lynn (Stephen) Patt of Maineville; a son, Christopher Thomas (Jennifer) Pierson of Morrow; grandchildren, Makaylie Shay Pierson Elliott, Bethany Avonlee Pierson Elliott, and Jacob Riley Pierson; two brothers, Bracy (Mary) Majors and Glenn Smith (Jane) Majors; and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Majors.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Breiel Blvd. First Church of God with Reverend Dr. Eric Newell, Pastor James Roberts, and Pastor Wes Duff officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
