Wilbur E. Hall

Wilbur Eugene Hall, 84, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born in Grayson, Kentucky on July 3, 1937 to parents, Elige and Rosie R. (Sparks) Hall.

Wilbur retired from Armco Steel Corporation. He was a member of Christian Enterprise Baptist Church and had also been a member of Jefferson Lodge #90 F & AM for over 50 years. Wilbur had a love of bluegrass music and enjoyed going to bluegrass shows. He played the banjo and had played a few times at church.

Wilbur was a loving husband, wonderful father and adored spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 65 years, Bonnie Jean (Barber) Hall; son, Wayne Hall; daughter, Vicki (Darrell) Yancey; three grandchildren, Leah (Clint) Taylor, Amy (Andy) Buchanan & Jake (Kelly) Hall; five great grandchildren, Waylen, Ella, Dakota, Dylan & Weston; a sister, Shirley Jackson; and many other loving family & friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Bob Hall.

Funeral Service will be Friday, February 11, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Masonic Service conducted by Jefferson Lodge #90 at noon. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
