Wilgus "Wig" Crase, 79, of Carlisle, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at home. He was born in Lee City KY, on April 26, 1936 to parents Lebern and Mabel (Perkins) Crase.

Mr. Crase retired from AK Steel after 28 years. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church and a member of the Pieratt F & AM Lodge #725 in Lee City, Kentucky for 59 years. He was a Nascar fan.

Mr. Crase is survived by his wife, Cleo Rose and Daughter, Leatha (Gregory) Lowman; 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; very Special neighbor, Wilbur Richards and many loving family & friends,

Mr. Crase was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lee & Carmen Crase and sister, Geneva Crase Hoskins.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Henry Clay Colwell and Pastor Bobby Reed, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 5960 Trenton-Franklin Rd. Middletown, OH 45042.
