William A. Evans, Jr.

William A. Evans, Jr., 66, of Middletown, died Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Hamilton on May 24, 1937 to parents William Arvle and Catherine (Russell) Evans.

Mr. Evans worked as an acid tester for AK Steel, retiring in 1991 after 38 years of service. He was a member of Holy Family Parish.

William is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Centers) Evans of Middletown; two daughters, Theresa (Robert) Dluehosh of Tucson, AZ, and Patricia (Gary) Blabey of Fairfax, VA; four sons, Michael (Tina) Evans of Highlands Ranch, CO, James (Laura) Evans of Alexandria, VA, Paul Evans of Middletown, OH, and Steven (Cynthia) Evans of Middletown, OH; two sisters, Catherine (John) Frey of Middletown, OH, and Julia (Robert) Angst of Hamilton, OH; three brothers, William (Eve) Evans of Columbus, IN, Joseph (Betty) Evans of IN, and Russell Evans of CA; and 11 grandchildren, Jason, Jeff, Jessica, Chris, Brandon, Carley, Jeremy, Marissa, & Noah Evans, Robert Dluehosh, Jr., and Joshua Blabey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles and John Evans.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 22, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church with Monsignor Paul Metzger as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday, March 21, 2004 from 2-5 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 182039 Dept. 013, Columbus, OH 43218-2039.
