William B. “Bill” Russelo, 88, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, died on January 15, 2005, at his residence. He was born in Preble County, Ohio on September 17, 1916 to parents Oscar and Anne Grace (Miller) Russelo.
Bill was an Army veteran of World War II, having received a purple heart, bronze star, combat star, good conduct medal, and WW II victory medal. He worked for Armco Steel Corporation both in Middletown and Washington Courthouse, with over 35 years of service. He was a member of the masonic lodge in Coshocton, and a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Washington Courthouse.
Mr. Russelo is survived by two daughters, Paula E. (Robert) Entrekin of Coshocton, OH, and Karen Sue (Vince) Pomante of Columbus, OH; one son, William B. (Kitty) Russelo, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Russelo in 2001; a son, Jerry Lee Russelo; and his parents.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with members of Lincoln Lodge #693 F. & A.M. officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard.
