William M. "Bill" Tucker, 76, of Dunnellon, FL, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on January 7, 1939 to parents William M. and Ruby B. (Hedger) Tucker.
Bill worked for AK Steel for 28 years, 25 of those years in the Coke Plant. He took great pride in his 1985 Chevy pickup truck, showing it at the Midwest Truck Nationals and surrounding shows. It had tail lights from a 1959 Cadillac and the seats from an airplane. He was also an accomplished wood worker, creating many memorable pieces for his family and friends.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Mary (Sexton) Tucker; five children, Vickie (Kenny) Johnson of Carlisle, Karen (Tim) Wilmot of Middletown, William (Holly) Tucker, Jr. of Monroe, Teresa (Danny) Peyton of Somerville, and Sandy Andres of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Bonnie (Charles) Beel of Franklin; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jody Brewster; parents; brother, James Tucker; sister, Eileen Wallen; and one grandchild.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
