William D. Voorhees

William “Bill” D. Voorhees, 80, of Middletown, died Friday November 10, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in New York City, NY to parents William D. and Marie Voorhees.

Bill worked for Dillard’s for over 30 years and recently he was working for Wal-Mart. He enjoyed golf, playing poker, and was a member Forest Hill and the Loyal Order of the Moose 501.

He is survived by his daughter Joadie (David) Carberry of Middletown, sisters Barbara Gagnon, Joan Voorhees, and Cathy Griffin, Grandchildren Kelly Roberts, Candice Carberry, and Kaitlin Carberry, and 3 great grandsons.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife MaryJune Voorhees.


A memorial service will be held Monday November 13, 2006 at 7PM at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Pastor Chad Slifer. Visitation will be 1 Hour prior to the service from 6-7PM at the funeral home.
