William David Rogers, 73, of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at his residence from a long illness. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on February 17, 1931 to parents Fred and Fannie (Martin) Rogers.
Mr. Rogers served 4 years in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was a retired Middletown Firefighter.
William is survived by his loving wife, Norma Jean; and by his children, Sheryon Carter of Hamilton, William D. (Jean) Rogers II of Xenia, and Kevin Rogers of Pampano Beach, FL; his sister, Dana Callahan; and special friend, Ruthanne Rogers. He is also survived by five step children, Janet (Douglas) Eastman, Stuart (Karen) Aldridge, David Aldridge, Jay Aldridge, and Tom (Valerie) Aldridge; 8 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service and burial of cremains will be held Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 11:30 AM at Woodside Cemetery with Reverend Randy Wallace officiating.
