William G. Taulbee, 76, of Trenton, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at his residence. He was born in Germantown, Ohio on September 26, 1927 to parents Arthur and Pearl Angel (Murphy) Taulbee.
Mr. Taulbee worked as an electrician and a pipe fitter for Armco Steel Corporation for over 36 years, retiring in March 1990. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church in Trenton, where he sang in a quartet. He was a member of Trenton Lions Club and the American Legion Post 218, a past member of Middletown Knot Hole Club, as well as being active in PeeWee Football.
William is survived by one daughter, Connie J. Neu of Trenton, OH; one son, William R. (Karen) Taulbee of Bath, IN; one sister, Daisy Gaston of Middletown, OH; 8 grandchildren, Scott Neu, Joshua Taulbee, Zachary Taulbee, Julie (Sean) Salyers, Bryan Taulbee, Douglas (Jackie) Taulbee, Jason (Tami) Taulbee, and Matthew (Lori) Taulbee; and 18 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Billie R. Taulbee in February 2002; his parents; and two brothers, Art & Rex Taulbee.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church, 509 W. State St., Trenton, with Reverend Chuck Testas officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, prior to the service, from 10-11 AM at the church. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military services conducted by American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church, 509 W. State St., Trenton, OH 45067.
