Wilma F. Johnson

Wilma F. Johnson, 81, of Middletown, died Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on December 21, 1929 to parents Johnny and Lilly (Shearer) Johnson.

Wilma worked for 14 years in the bakery department at Meijer in Middletown retiring in 2007. She also worked in the paint department at Jim Walters in Monroe and was a member of the Mt. Olive Christian Church, Beattyville, Kentucky.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Timothy) Goff and Amanda Bedinghaus; sister, Rena Sue Issacs and grandson, Bobby Grant (Christine) Gibson.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Grant, her parents, brothers, Bobby Paul Johnson and Eugene Johnson and sisters, Zalene Smith, Mouriene Powell and Juanita Francis.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Steve Hood officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.
