Yvonne M. Dillon

Yvonne M. Dillon, 86, of Monroe, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 6, 1925 to parents Willis and Jeanett (Mehl) Laut.

Mrs. Dillon was a teacher in the Middletown City Schools for 40 years. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1944 and Mount Saint Joseph College, Cincinnati in 1948.

Mrs. Dillon is survived by her children, Deborah Dillon Martin, Michael (Barbara) Dillon, Thomas (Holly) Dillon, Dee Dee (Jack) Marts and Melissa (Raymond) Sherman; brother, Dick Laut; sisters, Beverly Tranter and Gwen Long; grandchildren, Christopher (Nicole), Meghan, Elizabeth and Kevin Martin, Brian and Christina Dillon, Eric and Matthew Dillon, Nick and Laura Chaney; great grandchildren, Isabella and Alexandria Martin; numerous nieces & nephews and six grand dogs.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joseph M. Dillon, a brother Thomas Laut; and brothers-in-law, Robert Tranter & Gerald Long.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the church.
